Engagement objective

Save the Children/Bal Raksha Bharat (SC BRB) is an international NGO with a presence in over 120 countries around the world and in 20 states within India. In 2019, Save the Children’s global movement completed 100 years and this represents a key moment in their journey as the world’s leading independent organisation for children. Save the Children Bal Raksha Baharat also completed 10 years as a registered entity in India. We partnered with SC BRB to put together a Coffee Table Book on the organisation’s trajectory internationally and in India.

Our process

Through consultations with thematic leads, review of archival material, and interactions with state teams, a story of the organisation’s history in India emerged. Significant milestones, inspiring stories and highlights of change at the policy and individual level were then handpicked to be part of this landmark publication.

Key outcome

Our Legacy. Our Pride. 100 years of Save the Children maps the trajectory of these interventions and shares with the reader the key milestones of SC BRB’s work and evidences of the contributions it has made at national, state, and sub-state levels. The publication was launched at The Right Start Summit.
